Look at the video again tank mate. a 757 alone in size would cause an enormous explosion scorching the grass outside the pentagon. think about it. even if it went through the building the explosion would eventually find its way back to the entrance point, scorching teh ground outside. Which obviously didnt happen.

The plane was reported to have stopped before it hit the centre of the pentagon, also the fuel tanks in the wings would have been nearly full, igniting the sides of the building is one thing, but to leave no trace of explosion on the ground is another.

Does anyone actually know anyone that was in DC near the pentagon that day? factual evidence would be nice, so far, everyone including myself is speculating.

I know a couple of people who got trapped in their offices and were later rescued, but I don't think that helps.

well, what were they told hit the pentagon at the time it happened?

Actually scratch that, probably not the best thing to bring up so close to the anniversary.

After they were dug out - because the phone lines leading to their workspaces were severed by the damage, and the only one of them with a cell phone couldn't get reception - they were informed that the building had been hit by a terrorist hijacked jumbojet.

I was relatively close to the Pentagon, I could see the smoke. Though I was more concerned about the State Department, I know people who work there and there were reports of a car bomb going off there (which were later proven to be false).

The news was very quick to release the information that the part of the Pentagon hit was relatively unoccupied because of the renovations.

Besides, it's not like anyone here, or any of the conspiracy theorists really have in-depth knowledge of the situation when a plane hits a buildings at several hundred miles an hour. Everyone is working on assumptions, and you would be amazed how wrong people can be, on both sides. People don't take items into account, forget this factor or that factor. In addition, the conspiracy theory people have something to prove, so obviously they slant the evidence to prove their theory.

No, some helicopter shot a few missiles on the mountain in which he was living in the middle of the desert while Mulder and Scully were running away and T-1000 was standing there watching.

That's how he died.

everyone that lost a family member or friend, which is pretty much half the people on the planet.

A few irish citizens died in the attacks too.

I knew acouple of dependable sources who were in the pentagon as well as someone who had family on Flight 77.

Oh, I forgot that. Even if this cute little flash animation had truth to it, you're still dealing with a missing 747. If the guy who made the animation could come up with a theory as to where the other plane went, I'd maybe give this some credence.

According to many "Theorists" (And I use that term loosely) the government simply invented Flight 77. That still doesn't explain what happened to the passengers since the person who lost a family member was 14 or 15 (I didn't know him closely) and was notified at the end of school during P.E. and as such, I doubt he'd have a reason to lie.

lol i know i know bad humour. but still the evidence within isnt as clear as i would like it to be for me to believe it to have been a 757. Although you lot can try persuade me some more, i need solid fact to believe in anything. Which is probably why i'm an aethiest.

Truth is stranger then fiction in this case it would seem. As much as the impossibility of an unscorched lawn may be, it happened, atleast until someone gives me a better plausible explanation.

When major events like that happen, that sort of stuff always happens. Theres probably a pretty good explanation besides crying conspiracy, unfortunetly I cannot offer it to you.

i dont think anyone's crying conspiracy, lol cover-up maybe but not conspiracy. I'm not sure about the missing video's. i've never seen(or not) anything like that in europe. Maybe thats just the american way?
