After the Apocalypse
<strong>[Community -> Update]</strong>
Here's something that looks like it might be cool. <B>After the Apocalypse</b> is an independent movie currently making its rounds in limited theaters and film festivals around the world. I'll let the <A HREF="http://www.aftertheapocalypse.com/" target=_blank>offical site</a> explain what it's all about:<blockquote><em>AFTER THE APOCALYPSE is a futuristic fable about five survivors trying to make sense of a New World after a devastating urban catastrophe challenges all their human needs.
<br>
<br>Set in a bleak, post-urban landscape in the aftermath of the Third World War. It is a strangely limited environment where a single woman and four men are forced to communicate without words as a result of the destructive gasses from the war. Their pasts were erased by the war, they must recreate their lives individually and collectively.</em></blockquote> There's also a <A HREF="http://www.aftertheapocalypse.com/trailer.mov" target=_blank>trailer</a> for you to watch (<A HREF="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/" target=_blank>Quicktime</A> required). I think bizarre is the most accurate one word description. <A HREF="http://www.aftertheapocalypse.com/" target=_blank>Stop by</a> for info on screenings, reviews, etc.

I hope you realized that you were pretty close to complete corruption when putting the quote "My ass is full." in your sig seemed like a good idea.Franz_Schubert wrote: I hope she managed to salvage some bukkake goggles from the wreckage...
I guess this means you guys have completely corrupted me. Congratulations.

Calgary? That's like a a few hours south of me... but honestly. I'm not too interested in a post-apoc movie that features a naked dude running around by a stagnant pond.Looks very cool, it's a shame I'll probably never see it. How many arty movies with creepy sex scenes come to DVD? Or even VHS?
I know I won't be flying out to Calgary, that's for sure.
I would rather see a movie that was reminiscent of that one Tupac video where they were all driving around in the desert with those post apocalyptic dune buggies. Throw in some mutants and some guns and it'd be more what I'm looking for.
Too artsy fartsy for me.
