The post-apocalyptic/cyberpunk action RPG <b>Restricted Area</b> has been previewed by <a href="http://www.rpgdot.com">RPGDot</a>.
<br><blockquote><i>No doubt about it, Restricted Area is a potential winner. What we can expect, at least for the German version, is a fast-paced action-RPG in a dark future scenario. The graphics will be 2D with effects everywhere, good enough and lightning fast. Add excellent voice acting, an appropriate sound track and a streamlined interface and you have all your bases covered. Then it´s all up to the gameplay - and this makes a good impression as well, with its dynamic action, well thought out innovations and more RPG elements than the typical hack & slay RPG. </i></blockquote>There are some promising looking screenshots included in the preview, although the shots show the older lighting system that has since been upgraded. This game might be pretty good!

I lost intrest when I read "action-RPG".

Why can't these lazy bastards just do a normal rpg...

I dunno I think it looks pretty good, although it reminds me more of Odium than fallout.... Oh, and can't forget Shadowrun.

For once I agree with fallout ranger..... It doesn't look like it could stack up to fallout, but it looks like it might be a fun game in it's own right.
