I find it disgusting that this game has been out for less than a week and it's already getting a patch.

The game gone gold on September 17th, and it finally hit shelves on October 1st. Having a patch out doesn't surprise me.

I'm wondering what the patch changes though.

It should come out soon, they said that when it goes gold in europe (it already is)they'd think about releasing it here...

The reason is simple - there are about 3 weeks between the day the game goes gold and the day it hits the shelves. Instead of doing nothing we decided to listen to the community, read the reviews and test the balancing so that we can provide an update the day the game is released. The update mainly changes these things and doesn´t fix critical bugs we didn´t found in the beta. The next update, however, will fix some problems with exotic hardware.

In any case it´s good for you English speaking guys, as you´ll get the latest release and not the German gold version.
