Fallout: Quasi-Anime Render

Got great hand-eye coordination? Here's the place to show it off. You can also upload your work (images, audio, and video) and view our fan art gallery (currently defunct, bug forum management to fix it).
This is also the forum for all of you blossoming Camus' to exercise your brain power by writing and posting fan fiction.

Fallout: Quasi-Anime Render

Post by Moonbiter »

Image

Well I know its not the usual style of renders I do but I've been trying to learn to draw anime style on my Wacom tablet. I'm slowly getting better but not good enough to show off. When I got this new model I thought it would be cool to do something like this with it.

So what do you think?

As always Moon, very, very good! I guess like Lasse was saying if you want to go for the anime look she needs bigger eyes. The boobs are perfect though - don't change them

Okay thanks for the tips guys. This is one figure I'm going to keep on working on so you will see more of her. I may even do a little mpeg video when I get her finalized. I do got to find her some eyebrows though :)

One thing I noticed on your renders of women including Lydia is that the suit actually seems to be body-paint as opposed to a skin tight fabric like lycra. The way it actually seems to follow the precise contours of her curves instead of stretching over the valleys as it were, is a little disconcerting. It's especially noticeable on the sides of her breasts. A few fabric stretches would add to the realism.

Very good job, Moonbiter. I agree with last JJ86's post, but have to say it's still pretty much impressive. I like the "tone" of colours. I would love to see similar coloring in new FO titles...

Agreed. It would add a heap of realism!

Yeah the texture on the young lady is a basically on her body. I will see if I can morph the model to add them or post work them in.

On Lydia, IIRC she is wearing a body suit that includes some folds and ridges. The images may not show them though. I will check tonight since the Ruined Earth site isn't up anymore.

I should have the comic uploaded to the Vault-Tec server tonight or tommorrow.

I'm gonna need to hurry up and get my computer all fixed up so you don't hold the monopoly on rendered artwork any longer, huh?

Great job. Very animeish.
