More Land of the Dead shots
<strong>[Community -> Update]</strong>
A garbage truck armed with missile launchers? It looks like there's one in <i>Land of the Dead</i>. <a href="http://www.moviesonline.ca">Movies Online</a> have posted some more photos from the set of the film, as well as another report from <b>Jeff</b>. All of this can be <a href="http://www.moviesonline.ca/movienews_1561.html">found here</a>.<blockquote><i>George Romero is the man. I am told that he allows photos on set, and that anyone can hang out so long as you keep your yap shut and dnt interrupt them. Jeff who has been out there an awful lot taking pictures and talking with the crew sent in some new pictures today. The first shots of Land of the Dead vehicles. I am not 100% sure that this is in fact dead reckoning. He has sent in a dozen great pics from the set, but he also wanted to clear up an earlier report of Running Zombies in Land of the Dead.

<br>"Last night the kids couldn't figure out how to use the digital camera :( However I was up there this afternoon and got some more pictures (no zombies, sory). The armour covered converted tracor trailer actually has real machine guns (shooting blanks of course) I was about to take a picture of a logo on the tractor which read "DEAD RECKONING" . The kids came back tonight and reported a boring few hours, just the tractor trailer unit sitting in fog.
<br>
<br>Note, my previous post about the black zombie was actually doing a fast zombie lumber and not running. I think he is a main zombie as the first scene he was wearing blue coveralls holding a gas pump and let out a roar / grunt. The next scene he was lumbering towards the gas station knocking other zombies out of the way.
<br>
<br>Note the licence plate on the boat trailer says "Ontario" (blooper?) I think tonight is the last night of filming in Kleinburg, I'll keep my camera ready should I see them around Toronto in the coming weeks.

and you gotta remember Icewind Dale 2 looks kickass compared to Fallout.
In other words, I want films that stimulate my intellect and emotions, have involving plot, or contain some good humour. Fuck judge dredd and other eyecandies. Still, I'm NOT saying LotD is(gonna be) a bad film, I actually know shit about this flick.
But I don't like the look of that truck.

I like the truck. Thing like that is a good way to stay alive among the dead. Paintjobs very fallout like. Don't know lot about the movies plot but I guess they'll be moving around a bit more than in the previous three films. Or so I might thing just based on the truck.

The plot is roughly that the crew of the dead reckoning including dennis hopper and tom savini will man their vehicle, going out into the ruined city/ies to scavenge for supplies for the walled survivor city they live within, which is under attack by zombies who are somehow evolving, becoming more powerful, able to pierce their defences... so it'll be part hit and run, part classic zombie siege, i think.

Ou, thanks T-900. That summary just made my day. There seems to be some drooling over here. Now I just cant wait to see it. The plot's great. Very simple, very effective and very much a thing I want to see. I also like that Hopper and Savini team. Awesome. Really hope noboby fucks this one up.
