Yeah... lots of bathroom humor, yes it's also quite dumb for the most part. However what actually annoyed me was the unevenhanded satire, or shall we say blatantly malicious liberal trashing that persisted throughout the movie. I wouldn't have minded it so much were it not for the fact that they characterized the current administration's capricious and hamfisted tendencies as nothing more than endearing foibles, essentially glorifiying them in a campy off kilter way. Ignorant republicans don't need encouragement of that sort I don't think.
Yeah in the end we all know it was still a jab at both sides of the political spectrum but if you've seen the movie it's not at all implausible to think the zealous republicunts who watch it will conveniently ignore that satire directed towards them as it was much more subtle by comparison. In one scene a team america member shot up some mock up of a mos eisley cantina/terrorist club and conveniently missed all the innocents. Again sort of annoying me that they didn't take a few equally low blows at how the current administration is utilizing their military.
I find myself to be a moderate but leaning more towards hating xenophobic imperialist cocksuckers somewhat more. Whiny liberals aren't nearly as dangerous. So the film really rubbed me the wrong way. I had trouble enjoying the legitimately funny parts as a result of it.
