I sincerely hope it won't get buried under that game. Maybe there wasn't much choice: release the game now in time for Christmas, or wait until next Easter or something. NO! BAD! Bloodlines does not have any predecessors. That game Redemption is a totally unrelated title that has nothing to do with Bloodlines. Saying Redemption is Bloodlines' predecessor is like saying that Dark Forces was KOTOR's predecessor--same setting, yes, but completely different games.

It's PC only and hey, it may well suck hard, but I'm thinking it'll be good.

Didn't you fucking read other posts? The other one ISN'T the first one, the only thing they have in common is the name, even the setting isn't the same, as Redemption was set party in a medieval setting.

Yes, I read the other posts. Relax. By "first one", I meant Redemption.

But if they're going to call the game Vampire: The Masquerade - [Fill in the blank], people are going to draw comparisons between the two. So y'all need to stop freaking out whenever someone mentions Redemption, because again, same freakin' name.

You're quite right, a great deal of grossly misinformed people are making that connection. Therefore it's our responsibility as people who know the truth of the matter to share that truth. So if someone tells me "omg redemption sucked FUK BLOODLINES" I'll tell them that Bloodlines and Redemption are two totally different games from totally different devs.

I hope its good because i was dissapointed with TOEE but maybe that was because it was a whole dungeon romp DnD type RPG.

I dunno if there will be a need to preorder the game unless they just get a small amount because they arent sure how the game will sell. I cant wait to sucky the blood.
