I bought Sims 2 D:
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

If I recall correctly, Syndicate Wars was the last title I ever purchased from them. Note that isn't saying much. :drunk:

Too bad their games suck.

Either that's a load of bullshit, and if not, well TOUGH SHIT, BITCH.

The thing is all the creative and most talented people in the industry are giving up because of companies like EA. They're soon replaced by dozens of kids fresh out of college (or in many cases still in school) who don't know shit.

It's generalized to other domains then gaming, too.

Most companies adds new requirements for jobs consisting mostly of university certificates, and workers unions are more than agreeing, since higher requirements makes for higher salaries for their members. It's like a circle, it will surely crack down and reverse some day.

Yeah I haven't liked EA in a long time...I think since I played Future Cop:LAPD back in 98. Either I feel there products are pure shit the quality of the graphics are horrible and I feel that many of their war games could have been a hell of lot better should they take the step to make them M rather than T for pussy teens and people who can't hack the fact that gore is awesome especially when you shout a kraut in the face with a .45.
There football games are ok but I feel they are smothering the market with crapass Madden foot ball game which could stand to not ever be made again as their innovations suck and they make control difficult to use. They also fucking ruiner the Aliens series with Aliens versus Predator:Extinction holy crap can we say SHIT FEST. Overall EA is a shitty shitty SHITTY company that should be removed off of the face the earth using A-bombs, F-bombs and any other type of bomb that can remove such a crapass corporation from the face of the earth! BTW that dude journal was right on the fucking money big gaming corps suck because they kill most the fun on original and interesting games. I think all games made should be in the hands of the people developing not the fat bastards smoking cigars who don't even now how to play the shit they release. Thanks very much Teatime for giving my flame of resentment back.
Ignore my warnings and pay no heed then your live will be ended shortly indeed!

I bought Burnout 3, but I didn't know they published it, so it's not my fault.

Hey..Burnout kicks ass. It's the first game I've played to completion since Fallout 2 and Super Mario RPG.

Yeah, he was dying to leave EA. Something to do with it beeing the headquarters of an Evil empire determined to take over the world, with demons spawning in every corner and the smell of putrefact flesh beeing annoying...

I've yet to play 3, but I intend to buy it. Part 2 on the XBox was amazing..Not really graphically, but all the replayability...We still play it at least once a week.

For those who doubted, there's a big 'ol class action lawsuit against EA over this stuff:

http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/11/11 ... 12998.html

Assuming it's not another frivilous lawsuit, it's good to see lawyers fighting the good fight. Go and punch your local EA employee in the face today!

Yeah, and then Irrational got fucked over by EA pretty hard when one company involved in the deal went bankrupt and Irrational had to go through all sorts of crap to get their license back. Why do you think Vivendi Universal is publishing the pseudo-sequel?

Well I know nothing about that. I'm just saying that I like a game that happens to bear the EA Games logo.
