Nah i been playing games for a while and i bought bunch of new CDs. Soon i will start making the arena mod. Well we are still just brainstorming ideas and pretty much removing loads off them cause we cant be arsed scripting everything and we decided to not use watcom for scripts and found better decompiler program that at least works on my PC and is windows based.

Howabout fixing it for yourself, and the selfsatasfaction of making something that looks good, rather than like crap that was thrown together in the editor by Ray Charles, or another blindey.

A: MAKE THE DESIGN MAKE SENSE.
- dont have stairs that lead to nowere
- dont have the overlaping tables. You could EASILY make a non-lootable shopkeeper. Its done all the time in FO/FO2
-Dont have shit just sitting around: See- random computers (theyre fucking HUGE and junked ones wouldnt have been moved to a shop in those numbers.)
-Dont have out of place items: See- Brotherhood banners.

Well, the list goes on and on. Basicly, add a minimum of a RP element to it as well. The idea of a fresh start from the fresh start of a wasteland has merit, but you did a piss poor job of implementing it.

Oh, and to drag up an old quote again.........

Ive played it.

Dont plan to do so again, as its a waste as it is currently.

Actually i am going to fix shops in next update. Plus i am gonna make it harder to get power armor and minigun and other cool stuff by making better shops spawn as radnom encounter when your higher lvl something like caffe of broken dreams does in fo2. Changing graphics of shops to look better wont take long hence i will just take random encounter map with a house and put shopkeeper in there and than put invisible red hexes around him so you cant reach him when looting. Plus i will make shops save so that you cant have 50000 minigun shots as you can now. This will allso make it so that shops are at different places each time you play.

If its so easy, then why not do it to start with ?

Personaly, I dont intend ot DL any further version of your mod since I dont think you really care about making it good, rather you just intend to make it to be 'kewel'. That, and the lack of RP element sucks. Its like taking the works of FO:Craptics then putting it into the FO2 engine.

I didnt do it cause i didnt realise that fallout players where so anal to start with in first place. Figured that people that played game that was 100% obviously made with editor with repeated items all over it wouldnt mind graphics in the mod and people that liked game with jokes in it that have nothing to do with fallout universe would not whine about something not being apropriate to fallout universe. But guess i was wrong. So i will fix it hence it takes tops 2 hours to do.

And i really dont expect anyone to replay this. It is one time max 2 times replay mod. So if you played it once its just normal your gonna remove patch000 from fallout foulder and go back to normal fallout 2. I played it twice my self and i will test playing it once more on hardest settings. Than i wont play it again eather.

I am really suprised that people took this mod so seriosly when it comes to feedback. I mean i never even anounced making it. When it was done this year in april i didnt even bother uploading it. I played it once my self back than and found it fun cause it was new. Sure i tryed uploading it but dac went down for a while and than i didnt bother with it again. When i saw that dac was up again i thought i can as well send it in. Not ever expecting anything out of it.

Are you sure that you spent any time lurking here before posting? If you had, I think that you would know that we are known for being critical & tend to have strong reaction & negative feedback to all things Fallout mutation.

One of your ideas sound nice. Level based encounters have merit for later levels (no more rats & ants or robbers with spears against PA for a 10+ character please!) but also have a drawback & should be used with some caution. Fallout is a dangerous universe that should be quite easy to get in over your head without caution & if you have your head removed by a Deathclaw or are blown to bits by mutants in a random encounter, so be it.

Have I played your mod? No. Do I intend to? No. I might have had some small interest in giving it a shot but the screens convinced me otherwise. If you are having fun with the project, all the more power to you but do not ask feedback here & expect positive responce. A little polish & pride in craftsmanship are important to any project, be it for simple *amusement* or not. Good luck. Keep working, take some of this criiticism to heart & use it to improve your modding.
