Goddamn Franz loves editing my love letters.

Destinations where? And Nepal looks like an amazing place... so Corpse, you just hiked through the country? Some of the shots I've seen of Nepal elsewhere look simply spectacular.
And MFG: When your love letters contain nothing but references to lazy hippies and drinking Agent Orange, they don't belong in this thread. If you have something constructive to say, then go ahead... but if all you can do is bash us because you disagree with us, then fuck off.

Got halfway through the Annapurna trail but had to turn back due to extreme monsoon conditions. Like you said the countryside was just spectacular.Franz Schubert wrote:Destinations where? Destinations for my yearly trips.
Guardian@ I haven't been there for at least 9 years so I don't know what its like now, though I doubt it has changed that much so I suggest you go.
MFG@ Smoking pot and having long hair does not make me a hippy; I may be a lazy bastard but peace and loving is definitely one of the furthest things from my mind.

EDIT I had plans to visit Darjiling while I was in Nepal but spent a bit too much time in Pokhara smoking some of the best hash I have ever come across.

yeah its a fact that the area has the finest herb in the worldEDIT I had plans to visit Darjiling while I was in Nepal but spent a bit too much time in Pokhara smoking some of the best hash I have ever come across.
Bugger, If I had known that then I would have definitely gone as my throat was severely punished from coughing after many chillums of some really evil hash.Arjuna wrote:yeah its a fact that the area has the finest herb in the world
I looked for green but all the stuff I found was crap, you find plants like the one below growing all over the place but they are usually low potency hemp and not worth the trouble.

Yes, hash is the resin and is harsher on the throat because of its high concentration of THC which can sometimes induce a lot of coughing. Buds on the other hand are smoother to smoke and great to mix with hash in order to reduce its harshness and improve its potency.
EDIT
Hash oil is even more concentrated than hash (correct me if I'm wrong), I remember Ozrat had a thread here somewhere about how to make it.
The Hash oil I scored in Pokhara ($10USD at for a balm tin) was much better than any of the hash I smoked and a lot smoother; I used to smoke it the Nepali way, they pierce a cigarrette many times with a needle, coat the paper with oil and wrap an additional paper around it to cover the holes in the cigarrette.
BOOOOM!!! aahhhh makes me wish I was there right now, especially with my current critical shortage of weed.

I don't know about you, Corpse, but grass makes me cough a lot when compared to hash. Then again, I don't smoke cigs. Never tried jaras myself, but I hear it's potent as fuck. I believe napal's hash is just hash oil, compressed. You could just dip the tip of your cigarette in oil and get a kickass effect, I hear.
Hello New Jersey
I guess maybe you are more used to smoking hash, do you smoke weed very often?
Unfortunately hash has become extremely rare over here in the last 10 years so I am more used to smoking buds.
The hash I smoked in nepal needless to say was spectacular. Though lately with the flow of more potent hydro, I can say some of the buds I have smoked are true corpsemaking material easily comparable to the premium hash I smoked there.
Up in smoke fellas!

Sauron: Don't be surprised if you get a posse of Aussie stoners invading Canada.
Guardian: How do you smoke it? do you mix it with anything?
Also if you smoked the weed on its own I can see how it could feel harsher on your throat. Weed being worth what it is over here, we mix it with tobacco to stretch it and smooth it up a bit; I use normally about 1 cigarrette to 1 gram of weed.
