Since I don't remember seeing this anywhere, and I consider this great news. Sam Raimi is planning a remake of "Evil Dead." Bruce is signed on as a producer, but I don't know if he'll be playing Ash. Here's for hoping. Found it here.

They didn't really say, but with Bruce as a producer theres atleast some quality assurance. Plus it is the original director making the remake.....which could be good or bad.

Edit: Atleast it's good to see that Spiderman 2 money go to something I could enjoy.

Amend: Apperantly Raimi isn't directed it now that reread. Woe is the times.

Yup, seems pretty obvious to me.

So it seems it'll suck, eh? The whole ED thingy lost it's touch in Evil Dead 2, I think. Three wasn't bad, but #1 was the shitznatch.
