you should just have avatars. And on Jan 1 have every post -1 to your post-count. And if you keep the tri-foils at least have them go up every 1000 posts or whatever ^-^

I never even noticed they disappeared. I couldn't careless about the symbols, post counts or titles. But I'm all for some unique post counter-esque type of thing.
