It may be old, but a little late news never hurts.
 
 Terminator 4 was announced and is scheduled to begin filming in November '05. Writers Michael Ferris and John Brancato have completed a draft script and Intermedia's negotiations to have director Jonathan Mostow return to the set are supposed to take place soon. The major controversy begins when considering former starring actor and recent governor Arnold Schwarzenegger as he promised California that during his term he would not act in any films. But hey, it wouldn't be the first time a politician bent is word a little. Rumor has it that the action hero we know and love will if at all be starring in a secondary roll leaving a younger actor to fill the void. Some have speculated that The Rock has been offered the role, but the hearsay is are completely unconfirmed. Neither Claire Danes or Nick Stahl have said anything about participating in the film as of yet either.

The good guy will the The Rock and the bad guy Triple H and we'll get lesbians in thongs and high heels hitting people with chairs while we have a dwarf with long hair shouting random shit.

They should really move on to the humans vs robots fights like they showed in the other films. They will probably fill the screen with wrestling stars like megatron showed. Arnold doesnt know if hes going to run for governer again so he might do it when he gets resigned, hopefully hes still pretty ripped like in T3.

even if it isn't a robot vs human battle thing you can't remove good ol arnie schwartzenburger! he's THE terminator, it would be like replacing Sigourny Weaver in the alien films

I don't particularly like it, but if you follow the plot there would be little to no reason for the T850's to be doing anything.

Skynet already had the technology for it's advanced units, because they are visible in the backgrounds of the military base, in the laboratories... But T-850 endoskeletons could well remain the most viable mass combat units, being far easier and faster to build, as well as their psychological warfare aspect as grinning, red eyed, silver skeletons from hell.

Not that it matters, because Terminator series is speeding downhill. By the time it hits T4 it'll be straight-to-video.

3rd was a fun movie but not how they used to be. How they make them today, the time of sci-fi movies that were legitament is over, movies like Aliens, Terminator 2, Blade Runner are over and now we have Alien Vs. Predator which is just made to make a buck with big explosions. The old movies actually had lots of depth, from Aliens to the Terminator and more, movies today, save a few (and I am talking about box office movies here) have no depth and are razor thin; what you see is what you get.
