Restricted Area's Jan Beuck interviewed
[ -> Interview]
HomeLAN Fed have <a href="http://www.homelanfed.com/index.php?id= ... nterviewed Jan Beuck of Master Creating - developers of Restricted Area - about the year in PC gaming and what he thinks the future holds.
HomeLAN - Finally, is there anything else you wish to say about the past year in games and/or the upcoming year in games?

Jan Beuck - The games market is more and more controlled by a few big publsihers which recycle always the same concepts with better graphics and - sometimes - a few tweaks. This makes playing games pretty boring for people that already played a lot of games (like me). I hope this gets better next year, but instead it seems to get worse. :-/
Online distribution is the way forward, in my opinion.

Most people DON'T have broadband, and there are a lot of people who don't trust being at the mercy of massive corporations. In my opinion, STEAM is very big-brotherish.S4ur0n27 wrote:Why care if you have broadband, though?
Stop the useless whingeing.
"You're going to have a tough time doing that without your head, palooka."
