Aptyp has pointed out that <a href="http://www.mobygames.com/">Mobygames</a> have got Fallout marked down as their <a href="http://www.mobygames.com/stats/top_game ... d,50/">top rated roleplaying game of all time, in the world, ever</a>. At number 2 is Fallout 2. Go Fallout!

and why shouldn't Bloodlines be high up the list? (other than that Torment is below it)
I haven't played Bloodlines yet (technical issues), so tell me;
from what I've read and seen this game is excellent (well maybe not for hardcore FPS players.)
BTW, Fallout is also rated 3rd among adventure games.

Bloodlines is more linear, less funny, less mature, less witty, and overall less of an RPG, then Fallout was.

Yeah I know that Fallout is excellent (surprise!) and probably nothing can ever beat it (at least in our twisted minds), but that doesn't imply Bloodlines shouldn't be rated high (yet behind Fallout, the superiority of which you've just pointed out). Thanks for the answer though.

Not a bad game, Lunar 2. It was out before jRPGs started to really suck balls.

It seems Fallout's are now 4th and 5th. They could restrict that list to games with over 100 votes; it's possible for anyone to vote a game 10 times.
