I think the black guy fits fine. The girl is not hot. Zaphod shouldnt have that long hair shit, he looks like he was scripted for a dragon movie.

BUT FUCK..LOOK AT MARVIN! ARRGGH, and such. That ruins the entire movie for me...I mean...Damn...What the fuck is that damned piece of plastic crap...Fuck..Damn.

Also, I could care less about Mos Def. Then again, I think the best black rapper guy to play the odd Prefect would be Flavor Flav. Seriously. He reminds me of the character when he's just being himself.

As for Zaphod..I thought he was supposed to be a swarmy politician...Not a stupid hippie magician...

All in all, I'm feeling cheated by the direction this movie is going....Mainly because of Marvin...AHH.

Hah, must be why. I always thought of Marvin as somewhat humanoid, and similar to that robot in KOTOR, in terms of shape. The tall evil one, not the little shit.

Marvin the iMac aside, it's really cool how they got Martin Freeman from The Office to play Arthur Dent. He was so fucking awesome in that show. I personally don't mind Ford being played by a black guy -- there always has to be a token black man.

And is it just me, or did Arthur not have a towel at that part of the book?
