What, in your opinions is the best cover song in creation?
My vote goes to BiGod 20 - Like a Prayer.

Johnny Cash - Hurt is pretty good if you like emotional type ballads.

Led Zeppelin - You Shook Me?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

I don't know if you can call it a cover. I mean, technicly it is. But blues standarts that keep getting new versions aren't really covers maybe?

"Sweet Dreams" by Marylin Manson, because it's a completely different style from the original but it still works.

I'm really not a huge fan of covers, so "Sweet Dreams" was the first good one I thought of.

This thread is pretty much like your favorite artist thread, or what's on your playlist thread. Everyone just post cover versions of artists they love which other people don't know (the song, not the artist).
ok.

Bowie's Pin Up album consisted only of covers, and most were awesome.

Hm, I rather liked Cradle of Filth's cover of Fear of the Dark (all their other stuff is crap).
