POWAH ARMOR MANZ 2
[Community -> Update]
This is kind of short notice, but...

The powers that be have decided to resurrect POWAH ARMOR MANZ! It's new incarnation, the aptly named POWAH ARMOR MANZ 2 has taken the form of an Anarchy Online clan. There is already a forum up and running for your pleasure. We're taking advantage of the free one year subscription deal. There's a catch, though. In order to qualify for the free subscription, you have to register by the 15th, which is TOMORROW. So HURRY UP AND DO IT!

NOW!

For a more informed description of the situation, let's turn to Saint_Proverbius:
Hey, if anyone is interested in doing it, and since Anarchy Online is free for a whole year now, would any of you guys be interested in playing the game and joining the whole mock clan thing a few of us from RPG Codex and Duck and Cover did with Diablo 2? Basically, it wasn't a real clan or anything, but just a group of guys who already knew one another from the forums here and there that decided to play an online game with one another. So, nothing TOTALLY formal, but we did pretty snazzy in Diablo 2 for ourselves.

Of course, the catch is that you have to sign up by tomorrow, since January 15th is the deadline. You don't even have to have it downloaded by tomorrow, you just have to register an account just in case you'd like to play the game with us at some point. I think here's the link to register:

<a href="http://www.anarchy-online.com/free/ad_c ... mpaign/

So, if you think you might remotely be interested in playing it for free for the next year, there's the important link you need to sign up on. Then you can download it in your spare time.

So, if you're interested, we're going to probably put up a forum over at DAC for it... So...

JION TEH POWAH ARMUOR MANZ 2DAY

or die or something.

There you have it folks. Now go sign up before it's too late!!

Your all so gonna get addicted that none of you will remember dac or fallout.
AO is everything a Fallout fan can ask for in an established mmorpg. It has quests, missions, lvls, tons off weapons, cars, desert enviroments, power armors, implants, factions that remind of brotherhood of steel and enclaves and races that look like super mutants with no ability to reproduce. It only missed turn based combat but comes real close to it with its shooting delays.
Edit:
Here is screenshots. They are on ultra low texture settings thoe, game looks lot better if you have high end pc.

Anarchy Online /was/ a good game until Shadowlands came out- it totally ruined the whole cyberpunk feeling and now it feels a lot more sci-fi-ish and junky. But that shouldn't be an issue since the free registration doesn't come with Shadowlands or Alien Invasion - what should be the issue is getting groups for leveling and whatnot.
Screwing around with it should definitely be fun though.

Haha! I registered! Well now I only have to download the stupid thing in due time before I totally forget that I registered... Does anyone know how much it costs usually?? What is this game about anyway... is it some sort of multiplayer-3d-rpg or something?
There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.
Yea thats just what it is. And extrimly addictive to. I am spending about 8-12 hours per day on it. Allredy lvl 63 after 2 weeks off playing. And soon i be able to wear light power armor. It kinda generates missions that you can do alone or in team so there is eternal amount of them. Plus you can find special quests in towns.
