Close The Wasteland?
Go vote... as I said in the other thread, the only way I'd consider closing it is if I knew people weren't going to spam and post fist.jpg in the other forums.

Why? I ignore most of the wasteland unless it's a fun conversation & there have been a number of those. The Wasteland sereves a dual purpose of spam outlet & garbage can. Now mind you, I have learned from long experience to use caution with links found there or in #fallout & am not foolish enough to open them when my children are up.S4ur0n27 wrote:I never thought a woman could enjoy the Wasteland.
Any woman who can take the Fallout community for years is not likely to be one to be put off by the Wasteland.

Ever since Wasteland MKII, we've been constantly on the defensive, being forced to justify its presence again and again. If you don't like it, pretend it doesn't exist. And subhuman's vote on this subject doesn't count, because he is a pansy-flower.
I wonder why you seem to be the only person concerned with this. Have you forgotten how lucky you are that this is the internet?Subhuman wrote:If we want to be taken seriously,

Just me? Really? So I guess Teatime, Dark Underlord, and the others are working on the site's redesign, what...just for kicks?Franz wrote:I wonder why you seem to be the only person concerned with this.
Glass houses, dude.Franz wrote:And subhuman's vote on this subject doesn't count, because he is a pansy-flower.

I don't think "seriously" and the "site re-design" could quite go together in the same sentence... While it is a good design, it's not "We r teh serius" it's more "AAARGH GIANT MOTHER-FUCKING ROACHES!".Subhuman wrote:Just me? Really? ... and it would be dishonest of me to say I wasn't doing it just for kicks. I'm eagerly waiting for the day when we launch the new code. Here's hoping the entire site doesn't come to a grinding halt under the load.
Seriously though, what's with the seriousness? If I wanted that, I would've stayed on at the Codex back when that was still a pipe-dream.
