Business students do tons of math. It's pretty lightweight next to what you get in full-out math classes, but it's still calculus, it's still linear algebra and it's still tricky. Economics is one of the biggest applications of mathematics there is.

Well I've taken quite a few economy classes (at a vocational school) by now, mostly cost-effectiveness, budget and book-accounting, and they've all used really simple math that pales in comparison of the stuff that I do back at high-school. The only really challenging thing so far was when we went to national and/or regional scale, forecasting inflation etc.

I'm not saying maths is useless, but it's most likely useless to me. So far I've struggled to get 9's out of the high-end math courses (that's roughly A- or something for all u dorkz), but I still don't get the big picture. And I'm not planning to have a job as a scientist or a maths professor in the future, so I guess it will only look good in my resumÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â© and help me get a study place from some funk-eeh university.

Woo-wee. By the way, thanks again for that explination, Spazmo. It helped me quite a bit. At the moment we're chewing through derivats of trigonometric and logarithmical functions, which tends to give me a burning headache... But I will survive, yeah go go Gloria Gaynor. In fact, I'm doing much better than at the time when I started this thread. Yeah. Whatever.

I just suck at mathemathics. And when first bothering to reveal the MYSTARY of what seems to be series of ramdomly picked out numbers and sometimes even letters, nekkid hawt femalses with at least above average appealing breasteses would have to be present in order for me to be able to focus.
