Fallout 1 cutscene voice skipping

I'm having a bit of a problem with the death screens/end game scrolling desert screens, and the voice that narrates them. It almost always cuts off after a few seconds of play and i can never get it to work. I really wanna get the full ending. I've tried installing Fallout on the medium install but it still skips the narrators voice.

Can anyone help?

DirectX -> sound accelerating -> lower.
