Fallout Wiki
http://falloutvault.com
If you don't know what a wiki is, I suggest you read the manual. Basically, it's a source of information that anyone can edit. You don't even have to be registered. The goal is for it to become a database of knowledge about everything to do with Fallout.
Fallout 1 is canon, so is Fallout 2, if it doesn't contradict FO1.
As some of you may work out, it's possible for someone to go in there and spam everything and delete the parts they didn't spam. Firstly, this spam is reversable so it can be undone easily. Secondly, IPs are stored and people can be banned from the wiki (and this site) if they decide they want to wreck everything, so hopefully that won't happen.
Anyway, before announcing it on the front page I thought I'd test people's reactions in here first.
Ausir is the head admin on the wiki, as it was his idea. It needs to be skinned to look Fallout-ish or like DAC, but that's to come later...
Again I advise you read the manual if you don't know how wikis work, as it's not simply HTML (though it's easy to pick up).
Eventually... well it could be a database on everything Fallout, from quests, to locations, to NPCs, to background information.

Just thought I'd drop into ask a question...
I was checking out your wiki and in particular the list of possible names...
Did you ever think of calling it "The Vault" or something pertaining to Vaults... that way the name would be particuarly Fallout-ish whilst also having the strong connotation of actually being a vault full of information...
Well that's it. Just an idea

There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.

I notice 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Wasteland' is currently the most popular, but to make it more Fallouty shouldn't it be 'The Highwayman's Guide to the Wasteland'?
I voted for Vault-Tec HoloArchive (I think you should drop the 'The') BTW.
