some things i would like
the private message text; have it say no messages instead of text that looks almost exactly the same as the the text that lets you know if you have a message. Or perhaps have the messages icon light up like BING
perhaps a script to stop more than 3 quotes in a post.
being able to ignore posters

Oh, irony. How I've missed your soothing touch.Megatron wrote:being able to ignore posters
Seriously, bad idea. Everyone should be able to see every post. Otherwise we'd have people talking about what so-and-so said and other people would be all, "What? He never said that", and then it would be all, "Stop ignoring me you bastard" and we'd all kill ourselves in frustration.
Something to increase the visibility of inbox status would be appreciated, in my opinion. As it stands, it blends in too well with every colour scheme I have employed.
Quote limitations would do more harm than good, as it would impinge upon normal, healthy banter and debate. There are other measures already in place that can deal with abuse of this . . liberty.
As has been stated, ignoring a user/users would be more damaging to the flow of discussion than the injury wrought by the sometimes dubious contributions to our illustrious forum. Must we forget that we are all capable of and guilty of spewing forth irrelevant bollocks on occasion ? Can you not choose to ignore someone without the assistance of software ? The implications should be self evident.

Pretty sure this is in phpBB 3.0 which we'll upgrade to once it's released and once I've re-coded everything to work with it (IE: Not anytime soon).Megatron wrote:being able to ignore posters

Yeah. Perhaps if you didn't have shitty ad pop-ups I could enable the pop-up that lets me know if I have a private message lol. Stop being so immature DUDarkUnderlord wrote: Done easily enough in the template. You want a bright red flashing sign?
