<a href="http://www.worthplaying.com">Worthplaying</a> have put up <a href="http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php ... er=0">five new screenshots</a> for <a href="http://www.twilightwar.com/">Twilight War: After the Fall</a>. Here are two of them:

</p>
The game is described by its PR staff as "<em>a groundbreaking XORG (Extreme Online Roleplaying Game), with advanced
graphics and an integrated FPS combat system, in the Post-Apocalyptic
Science Fiction genre.</em> <em>After the Fall uses SpeedTree technology to populate the game work with
<strong>hundreds of thousands of trees</strong>, as well as Valve's Source Engine.</em>"
Close your mouth, dear reader. Not only is the game work populated with
the Source Engine, the technology barrier that developers
have been dedicating their lives to breaking, has been broken. The game
contains
<h1>HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF TREES.</h1>
I believe I speak for the whole community when I say, "fuck me".

I was playing Anarchy Online awhile back, and they had merely <i>hundreds</i> of trees in their game world. Needless to say, only a few hundred trees wasn't nearly extreme enough to make that game worth my while.
"Fuck me," indeed.

You're living in the past, mang. Shrubs are so 1997. The next evolutionary step in gaming is all about the trees! Finally, technology allows us to render <i>hundreds of thousands of trees</i>!!hat_man99 wrote:I hope theres some shrubs... a nice little garden of shrubbery.
By the way, what's up with the giggly anime bitch that's stamped into Worthplaying's logo?

Well, it sure looks like they went out of their way to make that middle platform in the tower in the last screenshot look derelict to the X-TREME. Because after the fall people will forget how to build towers in a sensible way.
