Hahaha. Someone should tell Herve that:

<ol>
<li>to have any form of community, you need fans and respect. Herve doesn't have any fans or respect;</li>

<li>to build a community with your content requires you to have content. Herve has no content;</li>

<li>Herve is not only a corrupt businessman, but he is bad at being corrupt. Any venture he gets involved in crashes.</li>

</ol>
Reviewing that list, I think people probably have told Herve those points repeatedly, he just doesn't listen.

I personally much doubted the veracity of that post when I read it. The guy hints at rumblings without any back-up and he's not even one of the more "trusted" people on Raging Bull. Like frymuchman, I'd like to see some proof of these rumblings.

Herve doesn't need a community, fans, or respect right now. He's banking on Fallout 3 making fans beyond the current fallout community. If it generates a good deal of buzz and sells a lot of copies on the XBox2 or whatever the hell it will be on, then he might get a good enough number of young, naiive, "what the hell is an Interplay?" gamers to get his FOOL going. Or so goes the pitch to blind, senile banker #12.

Of course, even if this pans out as well as possible, he'll still find a way to fuck it up. And Interplay will go under. And its assets liquidated. And Atari will high bid the rights to FOBOS and make 3 or 4 sequels in 18 months. And Nintendo will make Fallout: Racer. And I will make Fallout: Wasteland Wars RTS. And Herve's mother will produce the Candy Bottoms feature Fallout Ass Tactics II.
