Most played games
List which games you've most likely played the most and describe the experience please.
Starcraft- This first got me introduced to online play, it had me in awe with all the different things u could do with other people. It had me hooked for a long time, but the effect eventally faded. It pretty much led me to get excited for WC3.
Warcraft3- I got it on launch and I was addicted to it, I played so many hours of the game. I now pretty much ran my interest, in RTS, dry.
I think its pretty interesting that your most played games could turn to be your least favorites after a couple years.

The first game I played that really got me into gaming was freaking Einhander. It was on the PS 1 and it was one of my favorites because it had awesome graphic and it was a sidescrolling shoot'em up with space ships and mechs.
The second game that really got me into gaming was Star Craft man when I played it I was like holy shit *throws copy of einhander out of the window*
Now I am stuck playing Half Life 2 and Halo 2 on xbox live. They are freaking addicting and the need to be an asshole to noobs is great.

Ignore my warnings and pay no heed then your live will be ended shortly indeed!
On the computer I've played a lot of Counter-Strike and Team Fortres Classic. Mostly Counter-Strike. It's good fun when you want some instant gratification with little to no thought involved. Good for people like me who tire of games easily.
Another game(s) I've played a lot of are the PS2 generation Grand Theft Autos. Usually instead of doing the missions I just run around the city and shoot/run over things.
Except for Fallout, I've never really beaten an RPG. I tend to get bored and move on to something else.

My most played games would be ones back in the days of the Amiga or C64. In those days people would play a game for ages, and all that mattered was playing, as a lot of them were impossible to win.
There's been a few I've spent a good while with in more recent times, mostly RPGs, due to their nature. I did get hooked on UT for a good while. The GTA games are great timewasters too. They are perfect for a quick dip into the fun or a lengthy session. Brilliant design, especially for the console. Warcraft 3 and the expansion were fun, and a nice way to visit an old game, without having to see it age horribly. I had a similar thing happen to me as POOPER did with it.
DX took up quite a bit of time, but no more than required to finish it. The BG and FO series have both sucked away countless hours from multiple playthroughs.
I've played some great ones on consoles too.
There's been stacks of games over the years, hard to tell just how much time I've spent on them.

Diablo - very good game, the claustrophic feel made it very creepy
Diablo 2 - not as good, too open, too many monsters to hack thru
Deus Ex - that was probably one of the best games, three or four ways to do everything and all paths were available
Starsiege - pretty good story, multiplayer kept me entertained for a while, what with all the multiplayer mods (halfpipes, nasherc, others)
Vice City - still play that game somewhat, driving and shooting around, kinda wish there was a random mission generator that was something similar to the storyline.
Tachyon: the Fringe - long, engrossing story, but kept me interested thru both campaigns

Just a thought....
Windows XP:
Yet another example of how pussies get screwed.
One by one, the penguins steal my sanity
Duck and Cover - Where a thread full of idiots posting the same fucking smile over and over again is considered the cutting edge of hilarity.
