I am surprised that you'd be so worried about getting into trouble over modding an ancient game from a dead company. Especially when you consider the status mods can get now, with games like UT2K4 and HL2 almost being made for mods.

Well mod is allmost done. Just some tweaking and some beta testing left to do.
