Games that have come out in the past 12 months or so should defintely NOT be included in the best games of all time. Give it time so your fanboyish attitude cools down and actually play the game again.

WTF is so good about fucking Far Cry? It's your generic shooter, but OMG IsT'S SET IN T3H JUNGLES! It should be HOMM 2 on there, 3 sucked. UT 2004? Oh, god. KotoR's on there, too? The 2001 list was soooo much better than this shit.

So two video game web comics who make some occasional references to a video game? Big fucking deal. It doesn't mean everyone is claiming it is "OMFG BEST GAME EVER!". Web comics ≠ the world.

They made a Soul Reaver reference to it in the one before, and a whole load of other games before that.

The game is famous but my point is that I don't notice people saying how awesome it is every day, so it isn't really overhyped. It's whatever the latest console title is that usually gets the hype, such as Halo.
