I used to have that problem with the Sims, too. Then I got the Sims 2 (interesting turn of words, huh?), and custom stuff really doesn't add appreciably to the load times. Of course, it comes with a limited basic selection of stuff, but I'd imagine that the expansion packs will improve that.

The original Sims was pretty much fixed. The seven expansion packs broke the hell out of the code.

The worst computer company to buy from would have to be Emachine. I was given one for Bday and after a year hated and wanted to shoot it.

So turns out I had to spend some money on another situation, so I cancelled my computer order. Gotta wait till August now.

The positive side is that you can get the same computer for less by August.
