<strong>[Community -> Update]</strong> - News related to <a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/archives.php?topstory=8">Top Story: Wikipocalypse Launch</a> | More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... >Community: Wikipocalypse</a>
<p>Well that was fun. The wiki's are now online and
operational. Duck and Cover now has three wiki's which you can
all participate in. They include <a mce_real_href="http://vault.duckandcover.cx" href="http://vault.duckandcover.cx" target="_self">The Vault</a> which is the wiki for all your Fallout needs. Second up is <a mce_real_href="http://krypta.duckandcover.cx" href="http://krypta.duckandcover.cx" target="_self">Krypta</a>
which is the Polish version of the Vault. You can thank Ausir for
that (and the quite large Polish Fallout community as well).
You'll notice a few of the images are missing but we'll upload them
within the next couple of days.<br>
</p><p>Finally, it is with great pleasure that I announce the birth of the long-awaited <a mce_real_href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx" href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx" target="_self">Wikipocalypse</a>.
This wiki is DAC's database of Post-Apocalyptic information.
Games, Films, Books, Music... whatever we can even remotely call
Post-Apocalyptic will be added to the Wikipocalypse. Those 'more
info on' links that have been appearing above the news posts now all
point to entries within the Wikipocalypse. You can now click on
those to find out more info on something or, if the information isn't
there (like it is at the moment), add some content in to get the ball
rolling.</p><p>Eventually the Wikipocalypse will be themed, if possible
so that it looks like the rest of DAC. In the mean-time, it's
open for business though so feel free to edit any existing entries or
add in all the post-apocalyptic stuff that's missing.<br>

This is awesome news. I say make it a top story, as basically it means the majority of the site is user-editable
EDIT: so if anyone wants to be an admin for any of the wikis, let us know in this thread. We've got a bunch for The Vault but will need people for the wikipocalypse as well... or you can admin all of them...

This is good news indeed, if all goes well ... then it could turn out to be a great thing.
Ha Ha! I am glad you actully got use of the name I suggested before, (but for the fallout wiki) I honestly did not think you would go through with your second wiki idea...
By the way, are you going to be able to add movie-clips for download to the wiki?

There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.
