Continuation does not infer an absence of potential radical alteration in the name of 'good'. Whatever that is. Disguise it as 'improvements', 'reworking', or 'what John would have done/would have wanted', talk it up to the masses, most of them won't listen or comprehend anyway, fire it off and smirk behind your hands as people kill and maim each other in the name of a being with a sense of humour that I envy, once again.

Someone stealthy should just replace religion with poetry, or philosophy. Alot of valuable time is spent on fearing the allfather and praising his bastard child of revolution, that could well be spent on swell guy.

The facts that he's promised to keep doing what the former Pope did and that he has given out very conservative opinions about the current state of the Catholic church pretty much proove that Da Big Temple ain't going for a better direction, that's for sure.

Propaganda war against abortion, divorce and homosexuals has already begun. German catholics are shaking their heads, because their church is propably the most secularized division under Vatican rule. One of their own extremists became the pope and suddenly everyone, basically, has to follow whatever he finds "the true will of God".

Yay. More people will die and live in poverty, because of God's love! Yippee!

i seriously doubt it, its been 2000 years and they still dont allow priests to marry. They still have a vow of celebacy, and they still have arcane views on women.

Also, i presume you all know about the pedophile scandals in the catholic church in Ireland. Well guess who pays the victims of the abuse? Not the fucking church, thats for sure. They havent got any money Apparently... lol

2000 years of not being able to marry? I thought the Celibacy thing
was instituted in the middle ages to combat nepotism/corruption.
Priests setting up little feudal holdings with their kids using church
assets. Or maybe doing a sneaky manuever by sending their kids to
"work for" some other priest or business partner- and that person
doing the same with their own kids. That way they could claim they weren't corrupt because it wasn't their own children that were running the
assets.
Or maybe I just got a fucked up history education.
