Guild wars ?

So, anyone tried this chit?
No monthly fee apparently, and I am considering it. Though I do have this beef with MMORPG's, they usually suck, which makes my descision a tad harder, the things that seems to be in favour of this game is:
no monthly fee.
lottsa PvP.
The disfavourable aspects are:
Fantasy.
Prolly filled with cunts.
Probably boring since it has no goal (like all them mmorpgs).

So, gimme opinions, facts and rants ppl.

It's supposed to release today, over here...

I think I'll buy it next month, if nothing else then just for trying it. If I don't like it, I'll give it to someone else.

I'm interested in the game, it has quite a few interesting aspects that you already mentioned. The thing that sounded the coolest was Guild vs Guilds but its only 8v8, and I wasn't expecting it to that low.

I might wait a little bit and see how it turns out with people.

Perhaps but exitium said he wants to make his own guild with his underminds on his big lips. If he doesnt join maybe I can make it the DAC guild in honor of the great exitium.

Yea, Exitium has a massive hard-on over this game, but I'm not so sure if I'd like it.

I'm a bit confoozled though, because the guild-war page states that grinding isn't a large part of the game... maybe there was too little focus on the PvP at the time?

From what I read on the online manual you need to unlock things in RPG mode for your PvP characters.

bought it. It's not bad, I like the fact that you go in without signing up and paying monthly fees... I'm a bit dissapointed in the each to his own-style of play... Some of the areas are multi, but mostly you're running around for yourself, that's a turnoff =/ you have to find people beforehand to help you. And it seems most of them are dick-wads...

I made a Monk - Elementalist, I'm on the European servers as Sharee Gentlehand in case anyone wants to join up or something.
