<strong>[Game -> Update]</strong> - More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... y">Company: Interplay</a> | More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... rium">Game: Ballerium</a>
<p>Feeling down? Let's all laugh at Interplay. I spotted <a target="_self" href="http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boar ... 1336">this post on Raging Bull</a>:</p>
<blockquote>
<p><em><span class="t">Ballerium website: On the
Ballerium website a company employee said that Interplay was going to
be taking over the reigns for developing Ballerium and that Majorem is
not going to be working on it any longer. The poster also said that it
was going to be a long time before the beta goes live again and that
Interplay is not going bankrupt.</span></em></p>
</blockquote>
<p><span class="t">I did some investigating and found the <a target="_self" href="http://www.ballerium.com/community/show ... 2628">post he was talking about</a>:</span></p>
<blockquote>
<p><em>I have
heard through the developers community that this game is dead.
INterplay is in BK and the original guys(from Isreal) are no longer
involved. If anyone has more input would be nice to hear if this is
true or not.</em></p>
<p><em>...</em></p>
<blockquote><em>As for
Interplay, that may or may not be true. But as for the Majorem
developers, that is not true. PsyKill is one of the original lead
developers and continues to work on the game, Info is original CEO of
Majorem and continues to manage the company/game.
</em>
</blockquote>
<blockquote><em>
However, the rest of the developers were forced to quit (since they
were not willing to work voluntarily like Info and PsyKill, when
Majorem's financial backer went bankrupt).</em>
</blockquote>
</blockquote>
<p>So if these rumours are to be believed, Interplay has, much to
everyone's surprise, failed to get any money and killed off Ballerium.
I'd gloat, but... wait, I'll gloat.</p>
<p>Ha Ha Ha Ha.</p>
<p>Feel a bit sorry for the developers that Interplay appear to have screwed over again, but they must have seen it coming. </p>
