I don't care much for E3 anymore. I didn't really care much for it last year or the year before that either. It's gotten way too consolized, it feels like there are no new shocking games that really need to be announced. We've got our Doom 3s and our Halo 2s, what next? The big sequels came out last summer, I got nothing to look forward to.

In fact, I don't think I really give a shit about the game industry news anymore, probably for the same reasons too.

Looks pretty cool to me but I think nintendo is rushing the game to get it out by the end of the year. They are hyping it to no end too.

Once I moved to 3d zelda I cant go back.

Every year E3 becomes an even bigger joke than the last. First of all, everything Sony showed for the PS3 was prerendered CGI bullshit in the disguise of actual gameplay. And they did a pretty shit job of it, too. Killzone whatever and that other first person shooter they showed were fake as fuck.

The new Xbox looks the same as the last. More shooters and mind numbing fighting games. Although Gears of War looked good.

Nintendo failed miserably. It's just embarrassing. All they showed was a tiny black box called the "Revolution", very few specs, no games of course, and another gameboy nobody wanted.

There hasn't been much from the PC front. UT2007 is the only decent looking thing shown so far. But it's being developed for the PS3 as well, so they'll figure a way to kill the fucking thing on PC once and for all. I'm waiting to see Spore and what that's like. It'll probably suck. We are so fucked for games. Anything that catches my attention I learn is being made simulateously for Xbox360 or PS3. The rest is more pandering bullshit from the likes of Valve. "Oh we could show you something new, but we'll wait until after the show is over when nobody gives a shit."
