Turned it into Warcraft 3, thats what they did. Most automation is gone, battlestrategy = rush, and laggy 3d graphics ( that don't even top s3 graphics ). :sadblinky:

Yeah, I saw the commercials for Heritage of Kings as well. Thought it looked kinda cool.

Never played Settlers games, though.

It's all in your heads. There was never any new settler-games, since Settlers 2.

Settlers 2 was alright. The series went downhill from there.

I played Heritage of Kings, and thats what this is all about; They just turned it into a cross of warcraft 3, empire earth and age of empires, removed most of the automation and basicly just made it not Settlers. ( Don't know why they'd call it The Settlers doh )

The games were playable up to Settlers 3, which had everything nicely balanced and made everything outside of combat feel calm and relaxed. I'd turn it on when it was winter, just to get a small reminder of what spring sounds like.

Settlers 4 started introducing statues and a bunch of other useless crap, so I don't know how bad it is really, I just know I can't stand playing it.
