Solid Snake all the way! Hes the greatest! Although he may not get a lot of women :

he can take on a giant robot, an attack copter, survive torture and snape ( spelled right? ) every1 necks! 007 only drink booze and flings his crappy gun around!

Maybe that is because Solid snake boy lives in the anime/CGI world and not in a more realistic one. Did solid snake fly into space and do space battles, did he have his own movies!, did he have nice cool gadgets, probably not but 007 gets a lot of women and not those two bit crappy asian sluts in anime!

I'm not insulting you or anything its just that solid snake sounds like a rip off of Rambo and James Bond!!! :roll:

Most action heros are ripoffs of one another, in some way or another.

I'll pick 007 over SS because 007 has some decent movies.

Chuck morris Is a rip off! let me see, SS worked for Fox hound (which is a merc group ) while 007 works for MI-6 a Gov. Secret Agent place! ok, and where was Soild Snake ever in anime? plz tell me!

-- I have a desktop theme of MGS2 and there is annoying girl that sounds like she is being raped! Or sobbing over her fiend or fiancee.
-- I hate anime. I dislike Japs.
-- MGS2 sounds a bit of a silly name but I like the almost realistic CGI.

I pick 007. At least he is played by real people. I remember that Snake didn't even have eyes in MGS 1. Besides, Bond got all the women and gadgets.

I'm ok with that. I'm just too pissed off at them and everytime I see anime I think about them. When the first time I watched anime I knew something was wrong. Strange hair? Giant tits? Voices that sound like these people are having casual sex? When I figured that these were the creations of a evil race I was disgusted with myself for liking it. Nah... James Bond is waaaay cooler. Not the modern bond, mind, but the Sean Connery era Bond. Nowadays the franchise has been sold out to the corporations, and the films are terrible.

Solid Snake is way better than 007. Ok, Snake may not have Q but he does have Mei Ling, mmmmmmmmmmmmm, and uh, many other good qualities. He is much better at sneaking, he doesn't need to know any foreign languages, he just sneaks about and doesn't let anyone see him.

I was really enjoying the game up to that point.

James Bond had a certain coolness about him in the original 60's ones but thats about it lately its just rehashing the exact same thing she was doing/saying 40 year ago.
