Oceans to turn into acid by the end of the century
Oceans to turn into acid by the end of the century
<strong>[ Community -> Article ]</strong>
<p>"We can predict the magnitude of the acidification based on the
evidence that has been collected from the ocean's surface, the
geological and historical record, ocean circulation models, and what's
known about ocean chemistry," continued Caldeira. "What we can't
predict is just what acidic oceans mean to ocean ecology and to Earth's
climate. International and governmental bodies must focus on this area
before it's too late."</p>
<p>So <a href="http://www.spacedaily.com/news/oceans-05i.html">there you have it</a>. Oceans of acid
sounds pretty awesome (unless you like surfing, or sea food). Maybe I
should bring back "Doomsayer Digest".</p>
<p>P.S.:</p>
<p>Our hearts go to the people of London. 21st century never looked uglier.

Dropping alkali salts into the ocean wont help for shit, you will still have the enourmous salt concentration and that means that all you lovely fishies will shrivel due to a massive outflux of water.(I love seafood, this sucks) The only real solution is desalination, in truth us little wasteful homo sapiens(should be underlined) have gone and rogered our nice little planet, too late, oh well.
