New Wasteland merc 2 screens
New Wasteland merc 2 screens
Mod is now 80% finished.
Sweet! That adds loads of new ideas to Fallout, I wonder how long I'll be able to play with this for when it comes out.. I hope it has lots of replay value.
Good work.

Well i am aware that some people will hate this mod to. But its really adictive. Some people say that not looting enemies is anoying. But i find that pretty relaxing. This allows me to put in big maps spawned with 30 super mutants wielding mininguns and flamers and that kinda stuff and when you kill them you dont have to be bothered looting them. You are after the locked boxes on the map that drop good random loot.
And i even tryed sneaking and looting boxes. It actually worked. I had to take out some of enemies but 75% of them where still alive when i retrieved the loot. The script we are using for enemi ai is pretty cool cause they dont attack you if they dont see you or if someone that is on their side in their line of sight didnt see you. And combat maps are much bigger in WM2 than they where in first mod. So there is plenty of room for tactical aproches.

It doesnt really have replay value. Its more like play value as in playing same char up to level 70 or 90. Wasteland merc 1 alot of people gained level 40+ but it had about 4 days to 1 week play time before you got bored of it. This one will have alot longer play time. If you just count the redoable missions there is allmost 3 times more of them in WM2.I wonder how long I'll be able to play with this for when it comes out.. I hope it has lots of replay value.
And than there comes all the crafting and hunting and upping your char and collecting rare items to assamble other items like advanced power armor or mining drill. Or collecting rare implants and than paying tons to a doctor at black market to implement them.
Sounds.. Fun.
It tends to be atleast twice. Bitch.ApTyp wrote:Do you have to go potty at least once a day?

If i wasnt working my irl job it would have been out long ago. But this way its taking a bit longer. But it is just spawning 3 towns with npcs left and attaching 7 static talking heads out of 8. They are allredy done and all they just need to be attached to scripts wich takes 5 seconds to do but we kinda havent decided yet wich characters are gonna use wich heads. And all npcs and missions are scripted and all dialogs are written and all maps are done.
We are pretty much just placing npcs and attaching scripts on them in editor. Wich is taking long time cause we made way to many missions and stuff. And than when all that is done we are gonna beta test and iron out bugs for a week and than release it.
