I can't get remote script to work, even though I copypasted it from examples.

Syntax is wrong. I got this to work:

on 1:TEXT:*^^*:#:/describe $chan slaps $nick around a bit with a large trout!

After that, you just change the line between the two colons to whatever you want and you should be good to go.

Oh, and yes it goes in remote.
