Bishop missons?

Post by twiztid wanderer »

All righty then I finally got intot he Bishop family but I have no clue how to enter the Westin place I've tried to get in there before but i always ended up killing half the town in the process and I'm afraid that will not go over well with mr. Bishop how do I get in there?
Is it they fear the pain of death or do they fear the joy of life?
Life is only an outer layer, for reality is only realized by the insane.

Ask the Sheriff about any job offers and you will find that Westin is offering a job. Then ask the guard to see Westin about the job and you can get in. :)

Okay, go to the police station. From there, across the road (i think) on a street corner is a cop. He is the police chief. Talk to him and you can ask about employment in the Westin Ranch. Now you have a reason to enter.

Now you need to kill him. The poison you need is in the cupboard in the doctor's pad opposite the saloon. BTW, don't loot Westin's body, and plant the heart pills you also find in the cupboard on his corpse as then they will think it was a heart attack. And don't kill anyone else in NCR before you talk to Bishop. He's monumentally touchy about your cover being blown.
Hope this helps. :)

Um, no, I tried all drugs on him, and only the pills and Jet kills him (without a trace). A Super Stim will kill him with a rather neat explosion animation, but they'll know it's an assassination.

Buffout and Psycho worked just fine(just checked), the only one that doesn't work is Mentats, so I was a little quick to jump the trigger but close anyways. :)

How do you get to Carlson when I asked Merf about it he just talks about Brahim drives due to a bug where asking "Information on Carlson" or whatever asks him about "Work" instead.

You can steal the pass off of Tandi's secratary and then put it in the active slot and use on the guard near the force field. :)

Good tip for killing Carlson - Go down to the south side of the house, to the bottom left window of the house. Now manouver until you have line of sight with a burst gun, preferably the 10mm SMG, then shoot him in burst. You kill him instantly and the guards won't hear. You can find this out by asking his obnoxious son.

You could just close the doors behind you when you approach him, and take him out unarmed.

That happens to me when I *repair* Bishop's safe and he opens it. I found that by hitting the menu button right when the explosion happens you can stop it from crashing. Works for me some of the time just depends on your timing.

Um... the thing is when you repair the safe, you actually set explosives on it. Well, change the combination, but to the game it's just like setting explosives...

Oh, I thought you were putting enphasis on the fact you dind't plant explosives, but instead changed the combination and thus it would of been totally different then my scenario.

Oh well.
