Well, I arrived at the Military Base......and needless to say, I was killed....by that one mutant with the Minigun, actually hit me down to -373 HP, but anyway, any sort of strategy to follow?

Depends what you are skilled at.

Small Guns: HK(the wierd one that has a bull-pup design) or sniper to the eyes
Big Guns: Bozar(should be one shot one kill most of the time)
Energy Guns: TPR to the eyes or pulse pistol if you have it yet
Unarmed: Mega Power Fist
Melee: Upgraded Cattle Prod or a Super Sledge

Already got the "bull-pup" weapon, I'll go for the eyes next time...but the Bozar only did 22 to 25 damage, and occaisionally 66...but how do I upgrade the Super Sledge, do I take it to the guy in New Reno?

You can't upgrade the Super Sledge. Try to get closer to the target when using burst fire especially if your skill isn't that high.

use sneak...
fire and kill ONE mutant, the SAME one in one turn, then walk back a few steps an dthe enemy haven't detected you...
depends on what weapon you are using and enemies perception, but it works for me, you need a relatively high sneak skill as well...

or you just blow chunks of shit out of the back of thier heads...

Last time I tried my solution was Eye shots with a normal Combat Shotgun... And I was pretty low level too. Note that I only took out enough mutatnts to find me the PA... I didn't take on the level Melchior was on. Anyhow, they usually died in 2-3 shots - albeit I had the Mega Powerfist in the other item slot... So with my spare AP's I'd hit an extra aimed shot (I don't think I had enough AP's to aim it though).

Get a hold of some Psycho, get your damage res to 90, and they pretty much can't touch you.

A good (though somewhat cheap) idea is to go to San Fran first and pick-up a gauss rifle/pistol or two and then just use targeted shots to the head/eyes (though if you cripple their arms, they can't shoot at you...).

Basically I accept that they let the priests work, but now HAVING NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PUBLIC. But then... Pedofiles all deserve a painful death, so it's kind a difficult choice.

Oh, what the hell - kill 'em all - priests or not!!!! :twisted:
