<p>I'm a little late in getting back into the mix, and to those who
care I apologize for not pointing this out sooner. About 2 years ago <strong>S. Geoffre</strong>,
the creator of one of the best Mad Max fansites, was killed in a car
accident. Without anybody to fund or maintain the site it eventually
collapsed. A few days ago I got an email telling me <a target="_blank" href="http://www.roadwarriorforever.com/">Road Warrior
Forever</a> is back under new management and exactly how it once
was. Pay a visit, because there's countless behind the scenes pictures,
views from Broken Hill, and other stuff you won't find anywhere else.</p><p>Thanks to <strong>Ben</strong> for the word. </p>

Hello,
I am the person who is currently hosting the former max.org site as www.roadwarriorforever.com. I know these posts are now 5 years old but I wanted everyone to know I have continued to maintain the site to the best of my ability. I believe all the site that I was able to grab is up, and all the extra features are working. There are various background sound effects and a variety of animated menus and slide shows.
If you look at the history page (http://www.roadwarriorforever.com/conte ... story.html) it shows that in December 2002 there were almost 269000 hits on Cal's (S. Geoffre) site, and I am HAPPY to announce it recently passed 300000 hits on the hompage. After my hosting the site for 7 years at no cost to anyone I'm very excited to see this happen.
I still find links that go to the wrong location or that don't work. Please feel free to notify me of any problems by responding to this posting or sending me an email via this page http://www.roadwarriorforever.com/thelink.html
Thank you,
Ben
