You know the scrolls that give you insane jumping abilities, the ones that litterally make you fly?Mr. Teatime wrote: I always wished I could ride those instead of an automatic transit. So I would actually see the world go by as I travelled...
Those are a great way of travelling like what you describe =)
Of course you'd have to set view distance very high.
Also, in bloodmoon when you're a werewolf, you can jump through the forest at insane speed, and see the trees whip by you 5 or 10 at a time.
Only problem is that the areas load so fast that you barely go three jumps before you stall a few seconds waiting for the next area...
Needless to say you need to have a high-level character to survive the fall, and have that extra speed that makes the werewolf truly fast.

strange. Should run fine.
I mean, I have a 3.2 P4 and 1.5GB of RAM, but that shouldn't do any difference. (Not running Dual, I should get around to doing that..)
Do you have problems in other games? Not completely satisfied with the performance?
Might be your AGP GART, if you are using AGP and not PCIe of course..
anyway, try updating your chipset/motherboard.
Typically you can find them on Intels page..... but of course that depends on your MB.
