<strong>[ Game -> Editorial ]</strong> - More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... rash">Game: Trash</a>
<p>And here's the <a href="http://inhumangames.com/misc/press_rele ... elease.htm" target="_self">press release</a>:</p>
<blockquote>
<p><em><strong>Garbage + Guns = FUN!
Trash Now Available!
</strong>
<strong>Sept 20th, 2005 </strong>Inhuman Games (<a title="http://www.inhumangames.com/" href="http://www.inhumangames.com/">www.inhumangames.com</a>)
announced that </em>
<em>Trash, the sci-fi real-time strategy game, is now available
for sale from the Inhuman Games website. Take command of Mutants or
Humans as they battle it out in the unique dynamic map system in an online
slugfest against up to 23 other human opponents.
</em>
<em>Trash is being hailed as a RTS that beckons back to the real-time glory
days of Starcraft and Command and Conquer. The options are limited to
make </em><em>Trash easy to learn; but the strategies you can employ are
endless. Focusing on multiplayer, it takes teamwork to survive in the
hostile wastes of the future. Connect your empires together through a
series of pipes or portals and share your technology and benefits with other
players on your team. Protect one another and attack as a team and
victory will follow. Multiplayer games can have as many as 24 players
battling in real time while still maintaining no lag.
</em>
<em>Trash is a real-time strategy game that takes place in a
post-apocalyptic world, where two distinct races battle for domination.
Players choose to be either humans or mutants, both vying for wasteland
resources such as trash and toxic waste to build combat units. A key
tactical point is while each map has a random limited amount of trash to use to
build with, when each unit or building is destroyed it turns back into the
garbage it once was. Pick your battlegrounds wisely, as they may become
the next location to expand.
If you are a fan of the great RTS games then Trash may be your new home.
The free demo from <a title="http://www.inhumangames.com/" href="http://www.inhumangames.com/">www.inhumangames.com</a> gives you one of
the two races to play for an unlimited time. Go online and battle as long
and as often as you’d like! Just be ready…the machines that serve both
Human and Mutant may soon rebel…</em></p>
</blockquote>
<p> I don't think people here were that impressed with the demo, but it's nice to see an independant game getting released.</p>
<p>And if you're wondering where I've been recently, I've had some
other stuff to deal with, I'm still around, just not as much. </p>
