Popups A-Go-Go.

So I'm getting popups every time I click a topic or go in/out of any forum. Even got a popup when starting this topic.

Is that the new "in" thing? Or am I just incredibly unlucky?

We're changing the ad code right as you speak so could be the fact that as of right now, the pop-up code is in twice. In a minute I'll knock it out.

I get pop-ups when I turn off the blocking mechanism.

Yes. Supposed to be once every 8 hours or so.

New popups, I'm seeing them here at DAC only.(These particular ones.)

Like every thirty seconds. They don't install as far as I know, but
that's a lot of popups. They stack nicely for easy closure, so I guess they're at least polite popups.
Still, the rate could use some adjustment.

Like I'm giving spammers a share of my taskbar.
Ads are one thing, but this is spam.

If I wanted spam, I'd come to DAC and read it/post it intentionally.

Worked for me. No unwanted popups. Also killing spyware time to time and NOT using IE might contribute.

I'm on IE, at work, without any program to block popups, and I only get one : when I enter the forum for the first time.

I turned off all of my protection shit in order to try to get HL2 fucking authenticated. Time to turn it back on again and just grab the crack.

You get one pop-up every 6 or 8 hours here, and that's it. Anything more is either because a) you have cookies disabled, b) you have some spyware or c) some other reason. Though c) is quite unlikely.
