4 More VB Design Docs
<strong>[ Game -> Update ]</strong> - More info on <a href="http://wikipocalypse.duckandcover.cx/in ... le=Fallout 3 (Van Buren)">Game: Fallout 3 (Van Buren)</a>
<p><a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com">NMA</a> has released four more Van Buren design docs. Check em out:</p>
<blockquote>
<p><em><a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload. ... d=721">The Nursery</a>
</em></p>
</blockquote>
<p>
</p><blockquote>
<p><em>The Nursery is a miracle of pre-war engineering. It is a self-contained
balanced ecological system set within a deep canyon. The valley floor
of the canyon is rife with the flora and fauna of times past.</em></p>
<p><em><a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload. ... 22">Hoover Dam</a></em></p>
<p><em>In the days before the war, Hoover Dam was a source of great power,
literally, and NCR wanted to have control of that power. The technology
used at Hoover Dam could rival, if not surpass, anything the
Brotherhood of Steel had, and that was a temptation NCR did not want to
refute, especially during the growing tensions between the two
organizations.</em></p>
<p><em><a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload. ... Bloomfield Space Center</a></em></p>
<p><em>Bloomfield Space Center, surprisingly enough, survived the atomic war –
well, for the most part. Thanks to its very remote location in
southwest Arizona, the only real damage that the space center received
was from time and weather – and also the current occupants.</em></p>
<p><em><a target="_self" href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload. ... a></em></p>
<p><em>B.O.M.B.-001 is the final destination of the game. It is a large,
doughnut shaped space station capable of firing twenty-four nuclear
missiles, though it is currently only loaded with eight. It is capable
of housing six people, with an area designated for living, recreation,
and medical treatment, and a separate area for the true meat of the
station; missile control and launch. From here the player may set
targets to nuke, or try to avert targets from being nuked. </em>

I understand - game is dead and ao are those docs, but..hey..who cares about that? Everytime there is a design document newspost, I find you here ranting about that (it does look stupid, believe me), while on the other side - NMA - they are going fucking nuts from the joy (and that, in fact, also looks really fucking stupid).
There is nothing wrong with posting stuff noone will use anyways, but someone worked hard on. I mean, if you have pathalogical, unexplainable hate to it, just go to your corner and kick the wall real hard. I mean, shut up if you dont care. There are people that have interest in that, so, whats wrong with that? Those are fallout news and it would be stupid not posting them.
Besides, every actual design-doc released is good learning material for scripters/writers/programmers/amateur gamedevs to see how its done. You dont get too much design docs for games, do you? Games rich with dialogue and different skill uses like VanBuren was supposed to be (J.E.Sawyer had some nice concepts I liked...while in overall I really didnt like VanBuren).
This all looks like kid's fight: some kids say: "Something is better than nothing." You, fuckers, instead reply: "NO, KNOWING NOTHING IS BETTER!" Something > 0, you lose.

*the
Kamaz, you make a mistake in telling us to shut up if we don't care. The truth is, we do care - we care about how fucking stupid it is to get worked up over a dead project. And on many levels, I feel sorry for the poor schmucks who are eating this discarded shit off the floor like it's $400 caviar.
"You're going to have a tough time doing that without your head, palooka."

Irving, CA:
The ghouls are leaving town, so they are having a yard sale. It's the best place to get really old shit. Like a license for 8-year old computer game. A local loonie preaches in the town square, claiming that "Fallout 3 will be Morrowind with guns", whatever the hell that means. All in all, a dreadful place. You don't get karma penalties for killing anyone in this shithole.
