awesome - yes, and pretty close to Poland, too. Cheap - that depends what your reference point is. Well it's cheap for northern-americans, but then you have to buy a plane ticket.
Here's a pic overlooking the place where my photo was taken:

as you can see one of the best things in Croatia is the fact that it's a meeting point of mountains and a beautiful, warm and clear sea. Plus the beautiful towns with ancient history (Split is the capital of Dalamtia, which used to be a Rome's province)
