The Movies, Music, and Games thread

Talk about music, movies, TV, books, other types of entertainment and what your vices are. Also, if you're addicted to the high you get off Aspirin, this is the place to talk about it.

'Tis okay, Kashluk. It isn't as though expectations were contrary to eventual action. :drunk:

Everything besides the video sucks, and after you've seen the pretty graphics in the first few minutes you'll want to pluck out your eyes with fish-hooks. Just watch the last fight and stop it when it finishes so you don't have to watch dumb baptism that didn't make any sense.

It's better than the other movie, but only because it looks better. And you can edit the subs. I think I'll do a copy for my friend with the end edited to talk about pokemon cards or some shit.

It's emo. 'nuff said.

Also, see Megatron's review.

Some say that fights were good, but after first one with Tifa everything was bad, locally 'atrocious'.
The characters were raped by angry apes. With AIDS. No one stands to his/her/it personality from FF7.
And, this movie reeks of Japan, if you know what I mean.

Spirits Within was approximately three hundred eighty four times better.

See it for yourself, your friend BitTorrent is there for that.

Anyone know of some video game-inspired movies coming? Besides Doom.

It'd help as I never saw it and didn't really know what was happening. You sort of have to have played at least one final fantasy game as there's a lot of stuff about materia I think.

It's not so bad it's good, it's just below average. Just watch the trailer.

No. They went for the all-popular "We won't tell WTF is going on so it will look deep stuff" way.
Besides, there isn't much to it anyway.

They came very close to total destruction (britons that is) Only Hilters catastrophic commands gave the allied schwein enough time to bomb germany to the ground.

I didn't really like the book. It was a good setting but the story was like a candle in the wind. I like equillibirum better it's like 1984 and fahrenheit 451 mixed up :)
