How Come Geno the swell guy is a mod?

So I was innocently looking at the who's online indicator at the bottom of my beloved DaC forums when suddenly a hot iron is shoved into my eye! Geno is listed as a mod! A mod of what? MOD OF BEING A swell guy MAYBE.
